Where the value is
The best and worst value on this page, honestly
The 30-minute flight for value, the 45-minute one for the trip, and the West Rim if you want to land.
Best value overall: the thirty-minute flight at $269. It works out at about $8.97 a minute, and it carries 3,052 ratings at 4.7 — more evidence than any other listing on this page. If you want a helicopter over the canyon and nothing else, this is the Grand Canyon helicopter tour price to beat.
Best flight, full stop: $359 for forty-five minutes. Our top pick, and the highest rating of any long flight here: 4.9 across 1,935 reviews. It is the route people picture when they picture this trip, and it is the one we would book with our own money.
Best value if you want the floor: $279. Forty minutes from Grand Canyon West, below the rim to a private landing site. No South Rim flight at any price can do this, so comparing it on cost per minute misses the point entirely.
Where the money stops buying flight: above $514. The three listings at the top of the table add a UTV, a raft or a night in a cabin. They are good days out. They are not more helicopter, and a Grand Canyon helicopter tour price of $999 does not buy hours of flying.
